As a photographer with a penchant for boutique hotels, I found Ambassador Chicago to be a delightful blend of vintage charm and modern elegance. the hotel's prime location near the Magnificent Mile made exploration effortless, while the cozy rooms provided a comfortable retreat after a day of adventures. The stunning décor of the hotel, reminiscent of a bygone era, with its cushioned wrap-around booths and subtle Rat Pack soundtrack, created a truly memorable ambiance. Every room was thoughtfully designed, featuring a flat-screen HDTV and a spacious work area, perfect for both relaxation and productivity. One standout feature was the attentive housekeeping staff, exemplified by Eli, who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. the cleanliness and attention to detail, such as turning on the heater to help dry clothes, truly elevated the experience. Despite a lackluster breakfast offering, the nearby dining options in the Gold Coast neighborhood more than made up for it. From throwback dishes to well-crafted cocktails, the culinary scene around the hotel was a delight to explore.
